What you’ll do 

  • Develop and implement the  marketing strategy for South East Asia region
  • Champion PR, communications and marketing activities across the SEA business
  • Development, management and execution of the commercial calendar and activation of tactical activities for South East Asia region
  • Liaise with key departments to ensure all promotional opportunities are distributed effectively
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, developing learnings of key target markets and providing feedback to build strategy on how we communicate with them
  • Maintain thorough understanding of your brand, your competitors, your clients and brand DNA
  • Exploring ways of improving existing products services and increasing profitability
  • Manage the national visual merchandising programme and oversee VM execution
  • Identify business peaks and troughs resulting in innovative ideas that contribute to increased revenue and profitability
  • Have command of best practices and trends in digital marketing and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience
  • Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content
  • Execute strategies and tactics to grow followers across all channels, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of the brand
  • Actively solicit opportunities with media partners with similar target audiences to develop mutually beneficial promotional opportunities aimed at expanding our exposure to new markets in non-competitive or exclusive media environments
  • Create content regularly to grow the company’s footprint (press releases, corporate announcements, and creative content)
  • Keep up to date with new initiatives in the communications sphere and implement where appropriate
  • Maximize collaboration, efficiency and creativity by building and maintaining consistent brand identity across marketing and public relations channels
  • In accordance with the budget, manage all paid media expenditure from creative to production to appearance and post-campaign assessment, dealing with preferred suppliers
  • Provide monthly progress and ROI reports on marketing initiatives
  • Liaise with global and regional marketing team, senior management, corporate and suppliers as required

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing.
  • Posses familiarity with SEA region retail market and has hands-on experience liaising with multiple countries from a principal perspective.
