Solution Architect

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs.

2. Create and maintain effective customer relationships to secure customer satisfaction, providing the deepest level of product - and technology – specific expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations.

3. Participate in deep-dive discussions and gathers information about customer technical needs and assesses customer's current IT infrastructure and translates the technical view into the implementation view to architect an overall technical solution. Additionally, defines technical alternatives and possible shortcomings to the proposed solution.

4. Collaborate with account teams and other company organizations in developing and communicating key value propositions and negotiation points for a specific product set and technology.

5. Deliver compelling and convincing presentations addressing specific requirements and expectations.

6. Responsible for pipeline information to be updated and accurately reflect the area of responsibility to ensure nurturing of all deals and constant movement of opportunities to close.

7. Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation by orientating the appropriate teams to the technical solution design and identifying related training needs.

Requirements

1. Good at collaborating, innovating and making things happen.

2. Possesses at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or in any other Technical fields.

3. Ability to converse and articulate well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

4. Good in demonstrating deep technical skills in assigned area of specialization.

5. Keen on demonstrating excellent consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.

6. Good in management, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

7. If you have working experiences on the following key technology:

a. Server Virtualization – VMware and/or Hyper-V

b. Cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud and/or Google Cloud Platform

c. Infrastructure solutions – Servers, storage and networking (HPE, Dell Technologies, Aruba, Cisco, etc)

d. Data Protection solutions – Veeam, Veritas, Commvault, etc

e. Valid Technical Certifications from any of the technology partners listed above will be an added advantage.

8. Preferably 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for the senior position.
