Talent Houz successfully organised its first Academia-Industry Collaboration (AIC) Industry Visit Marathon, bringing Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic (E&E), and Mechatronics Engineering students from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia on a two-day industry exposure programme in Penang.
The initiative featured visits to three leading manufacturing companies — MKS Instruments, Hotayi Electronic and Celestica — offering students valuable firsthand exposure to real-world engineering applications, advanced manufacturing processes and industry operations.
Throughout the visits, students had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, explore manufacturing facilities and gain insights into workplace expectations, technical competencies and potential engineering career pathways.
Beyond classroom learning, the programme aimed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry practices, equipping students with a clearer understanding of the skills and capabilities required in today's evolving engineering landscape.

Strengthening Academia-Industry Connections
This inaugural AIC Industry Visit Marathon marks another milestone in Talent Houz's commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships between educational institutions and industry players.
Talent Houz extends its appreciation to MKS Instruments, Hotayi Electronic, Celestica and Heriot-Watt University Malaysia for their support in making this initiative a success.
Through the AIC Programme, Talent Houz continues to create opportunities for students to connect with industry, gain practical exposure and prepare for their future careers.
