Inside L’Oréal Malaysia: Exploring Careers in Finance through the BEST Initiative

On 14 May 2025, Talent Houz had the privilege of attending the L’Oréal Malaysia Open House at the stunning Crown Penthouse, 1 Powerhouse. The event was part of L’Oréal’s BEST (Build Experience, Shape Tomorrow) initiative — a program designed to give university students a deeper understanding of the career opportunities available within the company, especially in the Finance & Accounting department.

The session featured a company overview, career sharing from L’Oréal’s finance leaders, and speed networking that allowed students to engage in meaningful one-on-one conversations with professionals in the field. Students walked away with valuable insights into what a career in accounting looks like at a multinational like L’Oréal — from daily responsibilities to long-term career progression.

We were also joined by university representatives and students from INTI, Monash University Malaysia, UPM, Sunway University, and Taylor’s University, whose participation made the session even more impactful.
