K-Youth is a youth employability initiative by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, aimed at developing Malaysia's future talents by strengthening pathways from education to meaningful employment. The programme equips young Malaysians with future-ready skills and practical exposure to enhance their employability in an increasingly dynamic and competitive job market.
As part of Khazanah's broader nation-building mandate, K-Youth strengthens the national talent pool by nurturing adaptable, resilient, and capable individuals who can contribute effectively to organisational performance and Malaysia's economic and social development.
Talent Houz, as the programme partner for Track A: Machinery & Equipment (M&E), plays a key role in delivering K-Youth by facilitating career guidance, skills development, and industry placements. Through structured interventions and strategic partnerships, Talent Houz helps participants build both technical competencies and essential soft skills, preparing them to respond to evolving industry needs.
Aligned with Khazanah's Advancing Malaysia long-term strategy and the aspirations of Malaysia MADANI, K-Youth contributes to national economic growth by enhancing workforce readiness, strengthening talent pipelines, and supporting inclusive, sustainable development.

This youth employability initiative aims to upskill and facilitate job placements for young unemployed Malaysians aged 18-30 in
M&E [Machinery & Equipment] roles.
Talent Houz has proudly as part of the K-Youth Development Programme: Machinery & Equipment (M&E) Track A 2026, offering the public
the opportunity to enhance their skills and unlock exciting career opportunities in Mechanical industry.
The programme spans at least 4 months with paid allowances, starting with 1 month of classroom training (with technical & soft skills training) followed by 3 months of On-the-Job Training (OJT) with our host company.
No, you do not pay anything to enrol in this programme.
1 month classroom training (Normally 20-15 days) physical training with (Technical & Soft Skills).
3-months On-Job-Training with host company.
Certainly! Upon completing your chosen course, you will be awarded a certificate of completion. You may leverage this certificate to showcase your acquired skills to potential employers.

Yes, you will receive a monthly allowance, including government statutory deductions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, etc.), as long as you meet the required criteria and milestones on a weekly basis. Please note, no relocation allowance will be provided.
Successful applicants will receive feedback around 2–3 weeks after submitting their application.
We are here to support you throughout your job search journey with upskilling, coaching, networking opportunities, and connections to our talent partners. By staying committed to your career action plan, you will be well-positioned to achieve the career goals you set at the start of the programme.
Participants can only choose one (1) course from the following Tracks:
Track 1: Robotics Data Collection and Training
Track 2: Automotive
Track 3: Solar PV Training Course
Track 4: Service & Maintenance Track (Smart Manufacturing Specialist)
Participants must not have participated in any similar government sponsored programmes (e.g. MySTEP, PENJANA, KPT-CAP).

If you choose to terminate your contract after the programme starts, you may need to reimburse TalentHouz as per the terms and conditions in the contract. Please contact our team at k-youth@thmanpower.com for more details.
Our training will be held virtually (online) and onsite. You must have access to a computer/laptop and a stable Internet connection and manage to arrange your own transportation.
You must complete the entire programme to graduate and fulfil your contract. Inform your future employer of your suitable start date after completing the programme.
OJT is a 3-month paid on-the-job training component of the programme that gives you the opportunity to apply your Machinery & Equipment knowledge and professional skills in a real working environment.
Strong performance during OJT may lead to a full-time job offer with the same organisation, subject to the employer’s needs and expectations.
Talent Houz can assist in matching you with a suitable OJT placement if needed. However, learners who are able to secure their own placements are encouraged to do so to ensure the best fit and experience.
You are encouraged to start searching for your OJT or placement opportunity from your first week of class, as one of the early modules will help strengthen your CV and profile. Use your free time to apply for roles and attend interviews, as OJT is expected to begin by the second month of the programme.
Talent Houz will assist with OJT opportunities and recommend host companies that match your competency and preferences.
We support you through M&E (Machine & Equipment) upskills and professional soft skills training, coaching, networking opportunities, and connections with talent partners.
If you are unable to secure your own OJT placement, Talent Houz will assist in matching you with available opportunities, subject to employer needs and placement availability. Please note that this process is on a first-come, first-served basis.
The programme runs for 16-18 weeks, and the allowance is provided for this period only. If you are unable to secure a full-time placement within these 16-18 weeks period, the allowance will not be extended.
However, the Career Success Team will continue to support you with CV reviews and career coaching for an additional 60 days after the programme ends.
Talent Houz will assist you in acquiring career placement opportunities. You may also pursue direct employment at related focus industry. Additionally, our hiring partners may absorb you as their full-time employees depending on your performance and available vacancies.
While we cannot guarantee a job, we are committed to supporting you throughout your job search with upskilling, personalised coaching, networking opportunities, and introductions to potential employers. By actively participating in the process and fulfilling your career commitments, you increase your chances of securing a role that aligns with your goals.
To support programme evaluation, participants are asked to provide details of their final placement, including offer letters and start dates. This helps us track outcomes and improve the programme.
