Senior Design Engineer (Solar)

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits/audits and meeting to collect structural, electrical and related design
Design proposals for grid connected solar system projects including system components, for residential and commercial buildings
Develop design specifications and system’s functional requirements
Create PV layout, electrical single line diagram, panel schedules or connection diagram for solar electric system using CAD software and PVSyst
Prepare all required tender documents for consultant tendering purpose
Prepare all technical documents and drawings for tender submission and compiling

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent; any other field of study and passionate in Renewable Energy
At least 2 years of experience as Design Engineer or similar role in Solar industry
Certified GCPV holder is preferred • Able to travel for work such as site visits during project delivery
Good communication skills required. Strong leadership skills in leading team.
High proficiency in use of CAD software and PVSyst
Positive, young and flexible working attitude
